I agree, if gender and in between, doesn't matter and you only like the person or attracted to them just because it's them and they would become i don't know an alien and you still love them that's pansexual for me!
I then started thinking about every gender bender comic I’ve read(where it’s only crossdressing involved) and I began to think is there a mens rea when it comes to gay. XD is it gay if there’s intent, or is it not because the person is not actually a guy
