idk man, it's a discussion forum where people can express their opinions. It's one thing if they're being judgmental and toxic, but if they want to convey the aspects that they dislike about a story, i don't see the problem with it. There's no point of a comment section if everyone agrees and has the same opinion lmao.

well i get your point and respect everyone's opinion but I think there's a limit to it, not everyone wants to see toxic comments and people demanding shit also what I don't get is if they know the story is bad and the concept is horrible then why continue reading it? and then rant at the comment section on how the story is horrible and the author is when in the first place you know that the concept is like that. Its better to just drop the story and save yourself from stress and just leave it alone rather than go off and rant like your they aint reading it here in a illegal site.

i said "if its judgmental or toxic that's another story". A lot of yaoi/BL will have rape and non con and wont be tagged with that, because it's romanticized heavily or sort of swept under the rug. It being "fantasy" won't cut it for everyone, and you should respect that. Fiction isn't some little vacuum that holds no impact to the real world. Saying "its just fiction" is not going to magically make all the issues disappear. Some people might be uncomfortable or dislike an aspect to a story and why can't they comment it? Honestly it sounds like gatekeeping. Like you HAVE to like everything about a story in order to read it and you can ONLY comment positive things. Criticizing a story shouldn't be viewed as a bad thing. Sometimes i like to comment my overall opinions about a story, both good and bad. I honestly don't care what people think lol it's a comment section, where people can comment their thoughts. If you don't like that, then just don't read the comment section. It's not like the actual authors and creators can see any comments anyways. It's a DISCUSSION board, and discussions happen btw those with different opinions.

I'm obviously not talking about ppl complaining about translations. Although sometimes it is understandable. For example, a fan translator deciding to upload over the official translations. Or in another case, the translator of "pumpkin night" manga constantly making offensive racist/homophobic "jokes" at the end of chapters. But yea ppl shouldn't be toxic about uploading speed.

Nah some comments out here are just over the line and some are even ungrateful ones and it leads to some kind of hate agenda not just to the author but also to the characters as well. Also, It's not called criticizing if you only focus on the bad things and point it out always, and from what I've seen so far it is always like that, too late when the damage has already been done.

I'm not saying you all should like it I'm saying if you don't like a certain story and it makes you uncomfortable then drop it and respect someone's work at least. I respect people like you who voice out like this with sense and integrity but some just don't and resort to idk hate speech and comments.

also, the stories here have tags and even translators and authors put trigger warnings on the first chapters and pages. And I get it if it's uncomfortable for them then its ok i strongly respect that and I strongly suggest that they should just drop the story and go before they get stress or sum, but the problem is no some stay every chapter and gets triggered even knowing beforehand what's gonna happen and then leave or spreads hate agenda in the comment section.

base on what I've seen so far yes some are so ranty even tho the scene doesn't depict any (R word) situations. making it look like the scene is shitty even tho its not.
