Ok so... This is book 3 already, so get ready for a complicated romance between the emperor and his knight!!!. Apparently, the pregnant concubine will give birth to a princess and will die shortly afterwards, then emperor Luxor here will be down in the dumps, saying it was his fault and will push anyone who tries to comfort him away (including Paully). In the meantime, Paully will get engaged to that guy, of course he's a jerk since he is only after her wealth and tittle. He plans to give them to his son born out of his affair with a maid. Of course that fact would only be known a little later but Luxor was overly jealous. And when Paully eventually found it she was devastated so he comforted her, with alcohol of course and they ended up sleeping together. Ahhahahaha. The result would be a son. Of course Paully was perplexed so she ended up leaving the palace. But of course, Luxor wouldn't let that happen. So, long story short, after 1 wife died, he imprisoned one and the other asked for a divorce, since it was already becoming more clear that the emperor only have eyes for Pauliana!!!! So hang in there people! Lucious will change the rules and laws just to be with Paully, so be patient. It will come hahaah
