right like she cries to get out of situations. i remember when she cried saying heinley was being rude to her and tried to get sovieshit to punish him . She always tries to do that whenever a man doesn't give her enough attention. My issue with that was like what does she think it means to be the empress. The empress and emperor are supposed to RUN THE EMPIRE. when your a concubine all you have to do is sit there and look pretty but the empress has a whole ass country to run. She thinks that crying to sovieshit will get her out of all these situations but the reality is that she's gotta stop. There are certain things you can do when you're a concubine that you can't when you're the empress. Crying and throwing a fit whenever you don't get your way is one of those things. Navier never does that bc she knows that she isn't afforded the same privileges as rastha. and the ppl (lower class) may like rashta now bc she rose to power despite the class barriers but now that she will be empress she has to run their empire and actually do stuff.
