But in chp 17 he was with hayoung when Ian said he thought Matthew was an omega. Matthew said to hayoung that it was too bad that he was rejected bc he wanted to ask Ian out. Idk I think we’ve got a p big plot hole here lol

No I'm pretty sure Matthew was just trying to provoke the main couple, i remember him saying something along the lines of "it's because you're both being troublesome" he knew they liked each other but thought they needed a push. I mean if he didn't make a move on Ian it'd probably take them awhile to realize their feelings.
If Matthew “knew at first sight” that hayoung was his fated pair then why was he chasing after Ian?... am I missing something or
