I’m glad to see many people agree that sometimes romance and action don’t belong together. I just really hope he rejects Tess, I mean romance is fine and all but I’m developed way into the action for it to put romance now?? I-

i havent read too far, but from what i remember in the novel arthur said it would be weird to crush on her since mentally he's 30, and shes like 13

DAMN, I FORGOT ABOUT THAT. I can understand tho like if being 18 mentally in a 8yr body and having another 8 yr crushing on you. IT DEFINITELY BE WEIRD.
