i'm will all of the stuff about how it shows that he cares for him and doesn't see him as an object and all of that. but i also think this could develop towards the masturbation because he has masturbated after Doumeki has touched him before. and it is typical in yaoi that you see a character masturbate with an abject that the other party owns. so i wouldn't be surprised if that happens with the jacket. since there is a clean psychological and emotional difference between getting a hard-on and masturbating with visual images compared to a physical representation of that person.

yeah, it kind of reminded me of Ghost In The Shell when Batou puts his jacket around the Major's shoulders--kind of a sweet, chivalrous move.

That reminded me of the many scenes in Ghost In The Shell when Batou would put his jacket (or vest) around the Major's shoulders. I've seen guys do 'chivalrous' things for attention, but these gestures really seem to be about one character's deep respect for the other's dignity, so it seems sweet. Manga guys exist because so many real guys aren't doing it right!
