How much smut do you like in your YAOI?

I agree with you, I enjoy when there is smut but there needs to be plot. If i wanted just smut I would watch hentai.

1 chapter of smut is enough for me. Too much smut is so boring and annoying. Reminds me of 4 week lover (4ch+ smut)

well a lot of smut.. and a good plot or plot that make sense, and art is a plus. If I think the story isn't my taste, story is dragging etc I would drop it, there are more yaoi out there that I should be reading instead of wasting my time to something I would regret later.

I like it as smutty/steamy it is as possible. But the yaoi plots as of now makes no sense that its just plain porn manga .. So don't worry you're not the only one.

I like when the smutty scenes add to the plot like bdsm its about trust and relying on each other so I find it crucial to the plot but if they are just going ham like sex scene after sex scene over and over with no character development Ima have to drop it cuz in my opinion thats just glorified hentai xx porn with plot is fine with me but if its like "I'm Jax 23 years old and ever since I was born I always been able to see through mens clothing" and a few panels later he starts getting his ass broken in by some random man and that continues to happen through out the entire manga without any explanation or character development xx

I totally feel you on that!! I need a good mix of plot and sex. I think I was reading No Love Zone and this is exactly why I stopped reading it. It was really good at first, the plot was moving and then suddenly it turned into constant sex and I lost interest because where the fuck did the plot go?? But anyway I feel like the smut should enhance the story in some way and even if it doesn’t that’s fine as long as it’s not overdone. I really start to lose interest when it’s just sex after sex

I dont read smut unless theres some plot in it and a plot that I actually enjoy
I particularly skip all those really psychopath stuff and any with cheating and sad endings

I used to read manhwa with explicit scenes, but now I try to avoid the smut/yaoi/adult tag as much as possible because I find it really boring compared to fluff or ones with less
