Its bittersweet bcos there's a scene in the novel where Tia was pregnant with their first child and she doesn't want Cedric surname for the child (sumthn like that) and Cedric felt like Tia doesnt love him enough and he dropped the bomb that all this time he remembers the first TL where Tia was the reason for the downfall of the empire, the duchy and the reason for his loved ones and comrades death. That why he was so opposed in the first place in associating himself in Tia bcos he feels that he will betray all the ppl in the first TL. But he loved her so much so he told her he will take responsibility to all the sins anf guilt she committed whether in the 1st or current TL... (Ngl This scene broke me bcos it just feels like Cedric was so vulnerable in this part and it was so unexpected like I was not ready )





Its considered happy ending they had two children one girl who looks like Cedric and one weak prince who look like Tia... But Tia in the ending is so weak bcos she tried to activate a second magic circle but instead of rewinding time, the time stopped bcos her life span isn't enough to sacrifice bcos she gave ten years of her life span to some ally to make them her pawn(sighs) while inside the magic circle Cedric saved him that results to both Cedric and Tia lifespan to decrease ( its like minus 20 years for Tia while 10-15 years for Cedric)
It made them look old for a while, Cedric hair became white while Tia became so weak. They recivered slightly but it impacted Tia more. So it is implied that Tia can die anytime because they don't know how long is left in their life span. There's a promise that was made that Cedric is the only one who can wake up Tia in her sleep so that he will be the first one to know if she ever died in her sleep. This is also the reason why their son is so weak.
