Not only that but even though he wants to beat the mc fair and wants to prove that he can be in first place, he literally tried to murder the mc. He doesn’t want the mc to run away and get out of the competition the “easy way” yet he tries to murder him??? Doesn’t he know that this also counts as a easy way since he hasn’t technically beat him yet?? So does he wanna win or not? If the mc dies then technically Lee Sangmin would lose since he didn’t actually beat the mc. (Or he could’ve tried to murder him because of his father (the chairman), pressuring him to be better than the mc)
Sangim has no motivations or goals, so he wants to beat MC, but when he does it he realizes he has nothing more to do. He does not want MC to be the second best, he wants him to have no chances at all. He wats to destroy him but at the same time he want to keep him at his side because beating and seeing Jihyun suffer is what keeps him “sane” (he is a crazy bastard after all). I really hate him, I still don’t forgive him for killing his dogs
Ohhh thanks for explaining it to me lol, I didn’t really get why he was doing all this even though it would only make him suffer more (since he hasn’t beaten the MC once in his 11 years of knowing him except for that alcohol competition in the beginning). Yeah, this guy is messed up for sure.
I honestly don’t get it, Lee Sangmin (blonde dude) said to the mc “If I give you 10 billion won, would you quit being a doctor?” Yet he stopped the mc from doing dermatology, what does this dude even want? He could’ve easily let the mc go and do dermatology and he would’ve taken first place. I get that he wants beat the mc but in the beginning and middle he said “I don’t know, I’m not doing it out of pity though.” (In the beginning when the mc was about to get expelled) And then blames the mc for humiliating him, like bro, you complain even though you’re the one not letting the mc go. I can’t understand this guy’s(Lee Sangmin aka.blonde dude) thought process.
