I also recommend Cut by Kawai Touko. It's much shorter, but gives off similar vibes.
Other things you may like: J no Subete, Rules (more couples, but lots of drama), Koi no Mannaka.

I read Rules tonight (finished at like 3 AM, oops XD) and I really, really loved it. So yeah, I'm gonna end up seeming weird if I keep on thanking you; but honestly, thank you so much :p

I'm so happy you liked Rules (have you read the whole series?)! This is one of my all time faves, but some people say it's boring etc. I love all of Miyamoto Kano manga, so if you liked this one there's a high possibility you'll enjoy the rest of them as well.
You probably know Dog Style already, but that's another yaoi worth reading (troubled teenagers, tragic past).

Rules are pretty long with all those djs and extras, so they can keep you busy for some time ^^
As for Dog Style, I knew people recommend it and claimed it was really good, but I wasn't convinced and always thought it wouldn't be my cup of tea. However I was positively surprised, it's different from what you'd expect.
Anyway, you convinced me to read Yatteraneeze. I always skipped this manga, Idk why really. But I'll make sure to read this one next. So we're even now (≧∀≦)

Sorry, it's me again (￣∇￣") Just finished Afuresou na Pool ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/afuresou_na_pool/) and thought you may like it too. It's about 2 teenagers and there's a lot of drama, but it's not as tragic as Let Dai or Hai to Diamond.
I don't know myself whether I liked it or not, but I don't regret reading it.
