Well, it’s not like the readers(we) are just “okay” with the setting and how the killing of “innocent” concubines happens. Personally, reading webtoons/manhwas with backstory like this always makes me question “why” but that’s just how the author made her story. It’s her literary freedom and we are just mere readers.
What should we do? Stress ourselves and throw a tantrum? I read manga/webtoons/mahwa for relaxation and temporary escape from reality, sooo NOPE, that’s defeating my reason of reading manga, manhwa, and webtoon. If the plot/flow of the story stresses me out, I just simply drop it.
