from what I understand, the scan thing resulted in them rejuvenating. So now the old father is only 19 years old, and the daughter is as young as a child (I dunno, maybe 4 years old?). They just got younger. But they still share the same body nothing was resolved the situation just got even more complicated
Also, as they rejuvenated, they went back to their minds/memories from when they were younger. Almost as if they time travelled. So they don't just look younger, they also act and think different based on their old memories. That's why Mr. Shen was surprised he was in year 2020
at first fu and shen were struck by lightning and now shares the same body i guess it made kinda sense but now idk what the hell is happening anymore, shen became a teenager and we’re given no explanation ?? all i wanna see is shen turning back to his old self and start developing feelings towards zhen hao
