What do you mean? they found her being treated like a slave by that slave master, they clearly knew her position and what she's been through, just look at the slave mark on her hand! also, they are royalty! if you can request a fancy carriage, you can request nicer clothing and some clean water and soap, there's just no logic in the sequence of actions.
Wash her outside? Thry prob just wanted to go to the palace fast to do that.

Yes.. where I'm from when we travel from village to another village we literally wash ourselves outside lmao... (there's no hotels or public restrooms... it's pretty old fashioned), you can at least wash your face and other parts of your body that are easy to access, you can't expect people to sit there with dirtiness.
