It was spoiled for a lot of people in previous chapters what would happen with Eclise. Spoiler:
To put it short and bluntly, Eclise ends up betraying our FL and goes along with the heroine of the original story.

I've read this somewhere around the comment section too but reading it again... Makes me wanna cry.... I kinda liked Eclise with the FL but... Maybe I should unlike him now. The earlier the better (｡ŏ﹏ŏ)

+ but not romantically, Eclis love our fl too much so he partnered with the og mc, so basically Eclis brought back the og daughter and our fl gets kicked out so that both of them can be together

Somewhere in-between I'd say, probably a yandere is the best way to describe Eclis, but i think the FL will not get kicked out since father dearest(the duke) loves Penelope (⌒▽⌒)
Yeah. I haven't read that part yet, but I think Eclis thought he was doing something right, but it messed up all the hard work the FL has been doing. And he didnt consult her first because he was obessed, and she couldn't trust him anymore.
