yeah that made me feel so warm inside too ahhhhhh (def one of their best moments). the smiles they have for each other (even if its platonic from sooyoung's side), the fact he called minhyuk cute, the way minhyuk took out the knife out of sooyoung after saying it was gonna be ok (and the way he clenched his fist while doing so), and the "I miss you sooyoung hyung" hit so hard. They just have a much much better chemistry i swear to god.
100% all this. They exchange cute and playful glances and Minhyuk has or is genuinely falling in love with him, I want them to be together
and the fact that the author's probably gonna make him a side character just makes it hurt so much more. we haven't seen them actually interact in 15-20 chapters . i really don't understand why the main couple even like each other...
I'm sorry but y'all do know minhyuk isn't any better like he's had his moments but he's just a mini taesung but a little less possessive
they're both toxic af no question (they're in the mafia so i think this already makes em kinda fucked up). I just think minhyuk is more complex, interesting, and I personally like their moments alot more than taesung-sooyoung moments. Taesung also has his soft moments I guess, but they don't feel rly genuine to me - it feels very superficial (this is my opinion tho so you might see this as genuine I guess??)
Also sry for going on a whole tangent (i'm hella bored lmfao) but what i personally like about the minhyuk-sooyoung ship is how in the beginning and even now, minhyuk is always distant from people, can easily cut relationships with people (his ex said minhyuk never felt like he was there in the present, how he only has a physical relationship with that escort ) and can exploit himself and others to get the job done (aka ch 40). My theory is that he's kinda broken inside and never experienced actual human warmth before so sooyoung's smile and protective hug in ch 6 and 7 made him feel warmth and protectiveness he's never felt before. Also the fact he regrets what he did when sooyoung's drunk in ch 27 (which he said he would've never regretted before) shows that he knows what he did was wrong. I'm just manifesting that the ship sails or at least super close platonic relationship occurs where they both are good for each other and help each other out.
This bitch Taesung doesn’t even treat him lovingly after everything this boy has been through?? Cmon. I did not find this chapter hot. There’s no affection or trust between them. Seeing all this, I’m team Minhyuk all the way ( even though he’s not perfect either). I was really hoping for some romance to develop between them. Srsly the most romantic part of this manhwa was when Sooyong protected Minhyuk and held him in his arms at the beginning and I’m still not over it.
