Can someone explain why Karino called the other guy cunning in the last page?

he's cunning because he doesnt show how strong he really is and continue playing the sheep with his lil friend

he's cuning coz remeber when the friend asked him to get the king card? well this guy doesnt want to give that king card to his lil' friend so that the chibi friend will always depend on the tall guy.
