same. for me, im pretty equal. I hate it when there’s a misunderstanding and the fl won’t try to reassure the ml or vice versa. People always talk about how fl have the worst but I always see ml having to fight for the fl because there’s ALWAYS a second male lead to fight and she always hesitates and the guys got to try EXTRA hard. I think that it’s because the majority of the readers are female so they see it from a female perspective and not necessarily the male perspective...I just get uncomfortable with inequality so I try to see from both sides. Every shoujo has a guy fighting for a girl who is timid who won’t even fight for herself, let alone a guy. Yet I see comments saying they hardly see it lol.
tho I’m still going to get annoyed at him if he doesn’t reassure his girlfriend or actually cheats...I just hate seeing significant others hurt
I love your thinking! Many people lack this kind of wise knowledge. I always see this kind of stuff and I always get triggered by how the ML has to do EVERYTHING just to make sure she doesn’t get stolen, while the FL is just doing nothing. I do get that majority of the people here are females but most of them I’ve met here support gender equality but still rage at stuff like this. This is one of the biggest reasons why I don’t side with feminists. Don’t get me wrong, I do support rights for women but I hate the thinking and execution on the matter. I just wish people would start looking at both sides of the story and not just theirs...:(( I’m glad to know there’s someone here I can very much agree with.

I can’t see the difference with other mangas and this. Many mangas have situations where the ML catches the FL with a guy (misunderstandings) but I see no rage in the comments for it. Like people just simply ignore it, but when the ML gets caught by FL, people rage? I don’t get it. Why people don’t rage when something bad happens to a male and only rages when something bad happens to a female? :/ Someone explain pls :( This isn’t my first time seeing stuff like this.
