We can all agree that the emperor's personality is trash, but at the end of the day he still took care of her during her pregnancy (indirectly) he pulled a lot of string to make sure she's eating okay and getting enough rest.
And base on how the manga portrayed him, he didn't give me a reason to believe that he would kill her at any moment.
So I think her reason for running away was a bit rash and impulsive. As adults, they should have sat down and have a conversation about their future and the children's

They’re both in the wrong .
She should have had a long talk and gave him a chance to explain himself. He was trash for not taking care of her directly rather than indirectly before she ran away.
He does have the right to go after his kids since ya know he wants to raise them I assume, so I don’t think we should fault him for trying to find her lol..She dos have his kids.
Granted he’s got to work on his attitude, but she was also a bit impulsive
