I think she entered the company after 1 year, then was an employee there for 2 years before she met him again. So it's been 3 years since she saw him again but it took her 1 year to lose weight.

I dunno about this manga, since the comments put me off from reading it, but usually in japan they have a hiring period once a year, after university graduations. It is so, that they can hire new graduates in bulk. Hiring between hiring periods is basically non-existant in big companies.
How long was it between the 2 interviews that she managed to lose 50kg??? Took me 3 months to lose 10kg
