I think it's bc of the culture in China/Japan/Korea.... they're not as progressive as USA

Yeah like the US is soo progressive. No it has nothing to do with the US and everything to do with rape culture in China were the victim is blamed and rejected. It is not as bad in US, Japan and Korea so i don't get why you are gruping them together like that.
