First and foremost the attitude of the "friend" at ch.5-7. His attitude of attempting to take the 10 pills just feel so fake, he was supposed to be his "friend", the attitude and entrance of Qin Xiao was too agressive and shallow that you wont even think he was the MC's friend until the MC says he was. He didn't give the fake friend or greedy friend vibes, more like violent greedy monkey vibes instead
Ch.11-12 The MC's father doesn't have the bearing of a clan leader at all. He's just a strong guy with the title of clan leader. Once someone stronger or with equal power appears he may be easily replaced, because no one wants a half assed leader that only puts his interest into mind, a leader should lead his followers/people so that everyone may have benefits. if a leader wants to put his interests first, he must state the benefits the other party may receive. yes, you can force other people, but it's not gonna do you good in the long run.
ch19 MC spouts some shizz about being humble, respectful, moral, and just when he's not one himself, ex. Ch1,
How can you say be humble and respectful when you're a arrogant prick yourself. ex.2 how can the MC be moral and just when he wants to take 500 pills without taking to consideration the clans resources, it's 5 months worth of clan resources for gods sake. ヽ(`Д´)ノ
Ch24. The MC really doesn't have moral high ground here and his argument is really flawed. MC wanted 1000 pill, MC's father can give him 1/2 of that and he wants to receive the other half from the clans treasury. MC says that he only needed 500 and that the clan is wrong for not giving him what he needs, MC rebukes the elder for taking into consideration the future of the clan, speaks that because of his father's contribution that the clan survives until now, and that they were wrong to stop MC's dad from fulfilling his role as a father.
He wanted 5 months worth of clan resources for his own use, 5 months worth of resources can be put to improve the future generation, not just the MC himself, if the MC was trash himself it would be detrimental to the clan and may stump the growth of their future generation and if a calamity arises, they may not be able to completely recover because of insufficient of funds. The future is uncertain, that is why one should always prepare for the worst.
MC's father contributes to the clan, but the MC's father is not the only one, other people may be 1 realm weaker than MC's dad but they still contribute to the clan greatly because of their numbers, unless the MC's dad can guarantee a long life or a fruitful encounter that would pay of 5 months worth of resources, the people would naturally reject the proposition to give the MC 500 pills using their contributions.
And the argument that stoping the fulfilment of the fatherly role is wrong, is flawed as well. Before the MC's counter attack, he was viewed as trash, getting ten pills was already high enough, because of having the clan leader as a father. In the eyes of others, it would be like investing 5 months worth of resources to a falling industry, you would be getting your share of the income but it's not enough to pay off the things you gave. So the elders per se weren't wrong.
Since the improvement of the manhua at the beginning of the sect arc, and there have been less nitty bitty things that trigger me I have decided to stop for now until something triggers me greatly.
Plussssss if I realized that if I put all of the things that trigger me, my vocabulary may not be enough and it'll be to exhausting to do so
Imma make this a thread of mine to list out some of the inconsistencies or hypocrisies that i may find that will just ruin the experience for me
