1. Why everyone is reading the novel: because its good.
2. Why no one read '3 ways to survive in a ruined world'?: because it was bory
3. Why did HE read the novel?: becuase it was something that kept him alive (he lost nearly everything in his life) and he liked it?

It's kinda a long story, but alright.
(But know that this will spoil the whole story, every meaning in it, and you might understand it wrong ((because I suck at explaining)).

Dokja was sent in 1863 (don't remember clearly but it was the last) regression and got a quest there from one of the four constellations. But there he found one of Sooyung Clone that she lost. And that clone was trying to seal the regressers soul (to make the world better). Basically not to spoil you too much he completed the quest and came back. That 'world' did the last scenario and the Clone talked with the Dokkaebi King and they went to a new 'world' to see the 'Most Ancient Dream'. They found it but it was still a little kid with its mom is in prison, a dead father, no friends, and all alone (it also tried suicide I think?). They didn't understand why its not reading that 'book', But found out that the author hasn't made one. So they became the authors. They wrote that book for the Most Ancient Dream for years and made it read without it knowing. In the end, the clone disappeared, the Dokkaebi King became a wall, and the circle of ORV took another turn.
So, the authors were always the Dokkaebi King and Soyoung (am not good at names) clone she made got absorbed in her. That's why the real Soyoung made a book that was kinda the same as TWSARW. Dokjas wall was op because it was the Dokkaebi King. Dokja was always a constellation and was destined to get replaced by another him. So this whole thing is a circle before the team fuck everything up.
