The youngest sister of Gok still appeared in the second story, Hwa works for his aunt's (the youngest sister of Gok) restaurant. But other than that, nothing much, maybe because the stories aren't revolving around Lee Bin and Gok anymore so that's why.
I wonder whatever happened to Hwa’s family. His parents, sister, and friend just disappeared from the story without any acknowledgement
