Nice imagination. Now, if only someone could transfer this to Old Xian...
woah, I totally didn't think about that random dude!! U GENIUS. I just thought it was a fluffy joke. Does the author even remember, lol?
Now that I think back on it. Maybe, his dad is in the mafia & he disappeared because of this creeper + his dad. (I hope he or jian yi are not the cliche bastard son of the mafia boss, lol. The author keeps hinting on his light hair color.)
Your right, mystery man could of threatened Jian Yi w/ some black mail dealing with xixi. I also find it weird how Jian yi is against violence (like he's experienced serious trauma. Can't explain this well).
I hope that made any sense. You have made my thoughts run wild. thanks.
I decided to follow everyones example and to offer a conspiracy of my own.
I believe that the guy on the last page of ch. 117 knows something about Jian Yi (JY for short) and is spying on him. I also believe that Jian Yi's father is either in a mafia gang or is indebted to them given how much JY is afraid of him of sorts. And that would explain why he left hes family and why there was blood and tears ect
He Tian on the other hand isn't a good guy either so maybe JY told him all about his "situation" cause I personally find it difficult for those to be friends in normal conditions. As to back that up I noteced the way He Tian is talking about JYs father ... it's like he was implying something. And one more thing - I wasn't left with the impression that He Tian is a friend of Xixi and we ALL KNOW that JY is ALWAYS with Xixi. (▰˘◡˘▰)
So as for the disappearance - I think JY was threatened or maybe got himself in a dangerous situation and knowing that Xixi would do ANYTHING to protect him and remembering the incident in ch. 127-128 he decided it would be better to leave him for his own good. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
P.S.
That was ONLY one of my many sugestions and I have A LOT MORE where that came from (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
