Wait is he the second ML or just a friend who is simply worried about our MC?

I kinda wanted him to just be a friend to the MC and not a second ML... cuz now he looks like he is getting in the way of the ML and MC’s marriage on purpose b/c of his jealousy. (Idk just my opinion) Also, I kinda hate seeing second MLs suffering because of their love to the MC and we all know it ain’t gonna end well for them.

Me too, I just hope he said that only because he's worried that this marriage will be a shackle for FL since he knew that FL actually loves ML for a long time already. I would be so disappointed if he continues with his objection. Hopefully he will end up respecting their decision in the end and sincerely hope the best for the couple's future.
