The original manhwa is Chinese but we see the Korean adapted names still agree with you though lol
I think the original is korean though? The early chapters posted here was just translated using the chinese translations of the original. At least that's what I got frol previous discussions here

i wasn’t sure at first but bawoo is pretty obviously based off do kyungsoo from exo lol like they dress and look the same, both are singers, and have the same last name
