Paedophilia is defined as the sexual attraction to children, so you are right that claiming this as such would be wrong. And if she had fallen in love with a teen, it would have been easier to swallow, if not a probelmatic subject as well. However as to the reasoning for condemning her,
and some of the reasoning behind why this is disturbing to certain people on this thread; whether she accepts her new life does not change her consciousness/memories/and maturity. While some reincarnation manga give the main character some leeway on this to excuse the main character falling in love later in teens (for example, having them locked up their whole past life diminishing possible maturity), she doesn't even have that. She remembers everything about her (pretty normal) former life, which is why she even thought of him as a little brother before this. This manga doesnt even have the usual novel/game memory, which at least has them knowing the love interest as an adult before reincarnation happened.To all intents and purposes, she is an adult in a child's body....falling in love with a five year old. It is wonderful that nothing sexual is involved, but that doesn't mean its not creepy to see happening.
If it’s creepy for an adult (her) to fall in love with a 5 year old (wait she but when she died was still a student so she’s a teen not an adult) than it’s the same in the opposite cuz in their world only herself and the spirit kings know she’s a reincarnated person and that she’s a teen but to others in the current world she’s still a young girl who’s 5 y/o (I think she’s 5 right?) not a teen or adult cuz that’s her past life. Reincarnating as a baby means she could not have her memories and she would be living her life not knowing her past life like the others but she remembers them that’s the only thing different. If cuz besides that she’s perfectly a normal girl just that she knows here last life basically she’s reborn but she has her memories intact. And when I said opposite I mean in the world she reincarnated into ti everyone she’s a young girl who’s a child so if she falls for a teen and they get together then that would also be creepy to see happening. So basically it would be creepy both ways for it to happen but I don’t mind since she’s not a phedo and just cuz she’s a child now in her new life and was a teen girl before dying and reincarnated doesn’t make it creepy since it’s basically her dying and ending her life and going into a new life like rebirth and the cycle of life but she’s gone into a whole new world than the world she would have been. So really it’s just rebirth but with memories intact. If it was like that for me than i would be a girl who died in my last life and got reborn as a new person in another world (or the future or past) I wouldn’t know if in my past life I was in the future ir the last it another world cuz I don’t have any memories from my past life. But what I do know is that even if I did have my memories last life ik that that’s my past not the present/current life cuz in my last life I might be a granny or grandpa or boy or girl or woman or man a teen or adult or child that’s me in the past life the present me in the current life is a young girl who’s like any other girl just a young girl still growing even if I had a past memory. I would miss the people ik and live in the last life but now I’ve to live in the present cuz tho I probably won’t see them I have others too and who’s know the ones in the past life might have been reborn too and is in the same world as me and the same age/era and is maybe someone in or a friend or family member. Well...I'm prepared to get bashed for my comment. Since lately, I find that people got triggered for something that really basic. I mean, people fall in love all the time. But why people nowadays quickly attach love with sexual things. I mean, even when we were children, we also fall in love, but we didn't even think to do indecent things to our crush aren't we?
Hello, your fine ^^. What you described is certainly how rebirth plays out in a lot of movies/shows/ and stories. However usually those people either gain their memories later, or are born with murky memories. There are also ones born with crystal clear memories, like in this case, however this meant that the dominant personality is the first memory.
Oops, meant to write out a more cohesive reply to your post Akimana, but thumbs got in the way. The point I meant to make is that even in these cases, for instance in yuyu hakusho, while you see these characters go on to normally date and interact, and even accept their new lives-the way they mentally act is the age (and plus years of new life) that they would be in first life. Falling in love with a child when they have adult mentality (unless they are teens...again, a problematic an debatable subject, but not the subject on trial at the moment...) is not something they typically do, and its creepy to see happen. Ah, also she was just starting Uni in Korea, which is normally age 19-21.

On the side note, why on earth you guys quick to include paedophilia in this story. From what I know, paedophilia is sexual attraction towards children. If you fall in love with a child, doesn't mean you're paedophile. Romantic feelings and sexual attraction maybe correlated but never synonymous. And paedophilia is a mental illness which made someone sexually attracted to a child and when the child grow into adult, the feeling vanished. I will not quick to point fingers to someone who fall in love and the other person happened to be a child to be a paedophile. As long as that person didn't do anything indecent towards the child, I would like to respect the feeling of love.
By the way, in this story, Finea already accepted her life and she saw herself as five years old. Why condemn her? Or it would be better she fall in love with someone in his teens?
