Yeah. As far as I know, it's because their ears get rubbed against the sparring mats when they're fighting too which causes them to look like that after a while.
If you guys are wonder about the shape of 244's ear, usually boxers/wrestlers/MMA fighters/gangsters get harmed a lot and the blood rushes to their ears, which causes them to puff up.
