The dude almost never smiles except for with him, so him smiling in front of another person, who also said she was waiting to see him since last night, sounds kinda sketchy. He probably left the moment he heard that so he didn't catch anything else that was said

Totally agree! I think our Soo-Young should be running away from Tae-Seung, instead of getting jealous, but then again, it's 100% sure Tae-Seung will chase him down. How sad :(
