Right? I blame the royal family. They didn't think about how everyone else would view Risa being escorted by the crown prince. They didn't make a public statement to dissuade any rumors. And why would they even consider Risa in the first place? Risa has been in that world for barely a year and lacks the proper understanding of the worlds culture, common sense and politics, suddenly thrusting her onto the world stage is just flat out irresponsible.
I really feel her stress and frustration. Imagine, being in a world you don't know and just cooking/making foor to sense the familiarity, and so sudden, she got engaged to the Crown Prince? I know they are royalty, so it really add up to her frustration not being able to decline at all as she's also deeply considering the consequences on her adoptive parents. It's kind of sad and irritating at the same time. Plus! Those goddamn nobles' feeling entitled phrases, "She's just a manager! Blah blah blah." I wanna poison them.
