If it only hits the one spot then only the one spot would revive. They would need to be bathing in it for the idea to work and it just wasn't probable. Good question tho, had the same one and reread a lot to figure it out.

But when they revive someone, like how yuzuriha was revived in the beginning, they only need to pour a bottle’s worth of revival fluid on them to work and their whole body gets revived, the petrification cracks in one place and creates a domino effect, so if their hand was in the revival fluid, and their body was in one piece, the crack would start at the hand and spread and they would be fully revived
Yes but the hand would not be an up domino it would be more like one that had already fallen since my theory is that it would not be stone in the first place and/or fast enough to effect the rest of the body.

Wait a DAMN minute, someone explain to me why can’t one of them have their hand in a bowl of revival fluid so when they get petrified, they still would be in contact with the fluid and would get revived instantly, that way they don’t have to calculate when they need to throw the bottle in the air/ or have to wait months in this case so something would cause the bottle to fall on Suika.
