I’m not sure about the next Manwha chapters but I know some spoilers of the novel....

I believe that the most important thing to happen now is Alexander to read his mom’s diary, which he didn’t have a good relationship with. By reading it he realises his mom actually loved him but because Duncan (his father) made her suffer she just had thoughts he wasn’t her son. [If you want some more details on this please respond and I’ll explain all of it].
Now what I share what I really think you comment for, which is their love story. After reading his mom’s diary he decided to confess to Chloe, it literally made him understand things like jealousy and love, which he didn’t know much before.
If the Manwha follows the novel correctly people might be pissed off with Alexander but I ask, please have patience people
(Also, don’t you dare ship Trigger and Chloe, he is definitely 100% gay (even tho he’d marry her to raise her status and to hide his sexual orientation....))

As I said before he had a complicated relationship with his mother, she even tried killing him (just as a reminder I can explain this in more detail), Alexander swore to never have a child, however Chloe gets pregnant of twins, once they discovered he was really happy but as soon as the doctors said it was dangerous to have twins, Alex kinda freaked out, he absolutely didn’t want to lose Chloe, he even tried to give her something that would abort the babies without her knowledge (he didn’t end up giving it to her tho) and he also said if she were to die he’d follow her.
Anyway, our strong Chloe said she would not die in any case and they had the twins
Tysm for the spoiler but I have a few Q. does the ml end up becoming the Emperor?? Do they end up together after he confesses?? Last one(⌒▽⌒) did they face any problems getting together bc shes a slave n ex princess or did the dad let it slide bc his son isn't gay??
