Rape happens even in real life couples. The victim mostly just brushes it off afterwards because they love the other party too much. But whether forgiveness is given or not is not the issue. The issue is whether or not it happened, especially in these stories where there are "audience" which is us the readers.

You have no right to judge a victim for the way they act in their own situation which is their own trauma.
This victim was by far definitely raped by this person but the fact that they stay with that person was their own decision and that’s the way they reacted to their own trauma.
You honestly have no right to decide what’s weird or wrong for anyone because anyone has their own right to make their own decision.
I am a victim myself. And I definitely think the decisions I made in that time are really wrong decisions but keep in mind I like the intelligence and education to make the right decisions because I’ve never been through something like that before.
