i appreciate their work as a translator but that doesn’t mean they should be adding their own opinions and thoughts into the story? it’s distracting and tl notes are usually only added to clarify some iffy translations or cultural things
Idk who the person writing small paragraphs were, but it was a huge distraction and they seem to hold a lot of resentment towards Duna, it’s just a story, no need to annotate it that much.
