I usually dislike love triangle but it depends. Was it just the MC loving the blonde dude but nothing happened and he went with the alien? Or did some stuff happens?

Yes, the MC was into the blonde and they end up dating for a little while. But because blondie isnt into BDSM, they break up (both pretty understanding and suportive). Blondie even ends up being the wingman between the alien and MC

It's established from the start that the MC has a crush on the blonde guy. When the alien shows up, since he starts off merely for work purposes, he is the one who takes the initiative to get the MC and blonde together intentionally since he finds out about MC's feelings and thought it would be interesting for his work. If not given the push by the alien, MC would have likely not confessed any time soon. Anyway, things go down, the 2 get together and the alien starts to develop feelings for MC but wants to keep it under wraps cause of work and cause he was the one who made them get together in the first place. MC is struggling to get hard with the blonde then the one thing he imagines to get hard is the alien. He realizes he misses the rougher sexual activity with the alien and that he actually enjoyed his company at home more than merely the play. Alien ends up interrupting the 2 talking in the hospital bc he's frustrated how the blonde isn't willing to at least try MC's desires and basically they break up maturely after that because the blonde knows there's more to it than that. He stays a good friend to MC and listens to his problems about alien and helps him out.

I feel like for it to be a love triangle, there needs to be 3 people connected through love. In this case the alien was pretty much an outside as no one loved him (until MC realized his feelings but then he broke up).
Usually a love triangle means "the MC aint dating anyone but he is leading on 2 men because he cant choose properly / dOeSnT uNdErStAnD hIs fEeLiNgs" OR a MC dating someone but being attracted to another guy and stuff happens. Another case would be a poly relationship but these are often really annoying (unless its 3 sekes but i only sas 1 one shot of 3 sekes)
In this case it was really just the MC dating someone and someone else love him. So its not really a love triangle i think.
