Yes! I thought I was overthinking it, but it did creep me out at the end... Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

I wasn't so much "creeped out" as I was just
like, "huh. . . Now that's interesting." It gave
me chills but in a good sense. I just picked this
up today and already regret not having read it
sooner. I really do wish there was another
chapter tho. Like, maybe Kyousuke, after years
of having Ito-san show up to his work several
times a week, finally begins to remember him
and they decide to start over with their relationship
or maybe pick up where they left off. It'd be a nice
little goodbye ending chapter to help appease
some of these rabid readers. x'D

I like to think that the scene in the hotel room about Ito and Kyousuke just before the parallel extra was them after they had gotten to know each other again. Kyousuke was acting much more innocent in that last chapter. I think it was because of his memory loss. He couldn't remember the time he was a prostitute, so it showed through in his actions. It helps to think they had a somewhat happy ending.

See, I thought that, too, but something felt a bit off. . .
    I don't know, I guess I should re-read that chapter so
that I can better grasp what is going on.

Okay, I re-read it literally just now and I think it was during
the time they were running away. Either that or there's a
mishap in the translation 'cause I'm still confused. It talks
about Ito-san "waking up" so to speak which was around
the time before they decided to run away together. But then
there's Kyousuke acting like a virgin around him but he also
talks about how he's never been in a romantic-type relationship
before with anyone else which would lead us to believe that
he is still prostituting himself out but purely for cash and not
for the romance side of it all. Also, after the incident in the
underground when they were capture by boss, they were
clearly set free from that whole situation and told that they
wouldn't be pursued any longer but Ito-san still talks about
"danger" and still carries a gun around with him. He wouldn't
need to do either if they were no longer being chased.

As far as the danger thing goes, he was an assassin. Even if his own organization isn't after him any more, I'm sure he made other enemies. He may very well have continued being an assassin. That's all he's known. He doesn't know how to do anything else. It doesn't really matter anyway. This is just me trying to justify a happy ending for them. Please don't burst my bubble. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
