    Yes, I don't see much mangas now, only manhwas

    I wouldn't say so; manhwas have been the hype lately but Mangas and manhuas are still very much evident, and most readers do read them frequently. Many manhwas interest readers more because they're the current trend or have characters/plot line which may differ from others. Though, I do agree that manhwa is probably read a lot more than Manga atm

    I feel like especially a lot of the newcomers prefer manhwa because that's what people talk most about on tiktok. The only mangas I see around are haikyuu and mha doujins

    That's true, unfortunately. Readers who've been in the anime/manga community for at least a while now, probably moderate between manga and manhwa, though most newcomers just read manhwa and in a way, avoid manga. It'd be nice if, as you said, TikTok could showcase more of the amazing Manga works too, rather than only manhwa (and the occasional Manhua) ┗( T﹏T )┛

    Most of the currently popular Manga is pretty much just Doujinshi (particularly in the BL community), but I wish more of the actual original stories could be given a chance, and be explored more
