Hello hello!! i saw your question and was interested in you making reviews, so i came to check your recent is reading list n was surprised at how similar our tastes are lmfao!
I love long shounen or shoujo ai plots that usually get you to think or rope you along with the characters (actually healthy LMAO) romance, but on the other hand find myself reading more fucked up pyschological stuff that is self aware enough to realize their characters r hurting, and give them the appropriate endings they deserve!! (i don’t like romanticizing very toxic relationships shakes head)
anyways!! my recs for you would be Mr. Miss (super sweet shounen ai with accurate lgbt terminology and good representation) and Warehouse (VERY VERY DARK psychological horror that features a lot of r*pe in its openings chapters, i tend to skip those parts, but with a very interesting and fucked plot)

Honestly I prefer more shonen-ai, good plot/healthy relationships, though I also do love reading messed up psychological thrillers where you absolutely (are meant to) DESPISE one or both of the main protagonists!
