guilt, maybe? bc chiwoo still calls his name to save him, not knowing he set it up in the first place
but tbh it doesn't seem like hwan set up the r*pe events per se, i think he meant he was involved in some way during the events eg. why there was a doll replica of him, why chiwoo managed to beat the monster in the arcade etc. so i agree he was maybe saving him on the sidelines?
hwan seems too obsessed with chiwoo to let any monster mess around with chiwoo voluntarily
If hwan was really the one who ploted all that r4p€ shit, then why would he be so agitated when chiwoo called his name on chap 25-26?
