It's not yaoi, but there is a boy side character who is gay (and is in love with his cafe manager or something?). I think it was pretty popular, maybe 10+ chapters? Last time i read it, about a year or two ago, i think it was incomplete and on a cliffhanger.
I clearly remember the scene where one of the side characters, a chubby girl, falls in love with the boy who is gay, and she tries to diet for him (she didnt know he was gay). Then the main girl character accidentally reveals to the whole school that the boy is gay and when the chubby girl finds out she thinks it's hopeless. The boy faces discrimination, and the chubby girl gives him secret letters to his locker to encourage him, even though she is sad because she knows she doesnt have a chance with him.
I just wanted to see how that resolved...it hurt my heart ;-;
