I’ve even stopped reading the novel because she got so annoying. But then again I’ve been reading the comic from the start and she hasn’t been annoying here... yet at least... lol. So I understand why the non-novel readers think that way.

Oh, thank goodness I read this conversation. I'm a nonreader and began to like Tess but ahem! I'll just stick with our little dragon and look forward whom our MC end up with.

Let me tell you my reason.
I don't particularly "hate" her but I just can't like her character. Hate is for Lucas Wykes but I like how he act his villain part in this story.

The way I see Tess role here is the one who is always have to be rescued, which I don't like. The way she thinks, her way of being a tsundere I'm not fond of that. It is just my personal preference. She is like Jeanette of Who Made Me a Princess for me.

Maybe other readers have their own reasons too and I want to hear it.

and that's okay, not everyone needs to like the characters, but Tessia gets hate over bullshit things its so tiring to constantly try to understand everyone's pov-- *spoiler* there are many instances in the novel where Arthur genuinely likes her, and I don't who he ends up with but whoever he chooses is whom I will support, that's why I support Tessia because she's who Arthur likes.

how is romance not part of the journey though? I understand everyone wants to keep the whole shounen story but honestly, Tessia contributes a whole lot to the plot of the whole novel-- can't wait for everyone to know what she's capable of SDFLKJASD the novel is currently starting on the next volume :>

Well I mean, I don't hate her per se but I greatly dislike her character since she is a "damsel in distress" type most of the time, and also she just makes terrible after terrible decisions in the novel. I'm currently in the 300's for reference

Tbh I skipped every romance part in the novel. I'll catch up if I got free time again. The story is good to be dropped because of the romance part I don't like si I just skip some parts and read another.

definitely, right now the story is definitely leading more to individual character development and it will surprise everyone how much Arthur gets stronger and who they're up against-- and I really think everyone should read the novel because it explains more stuff there, you can always skip the romance part :>

Yeah definitely skip the romance parts, it's not hard there actually aren't too many moments. The plot is so amazing I recommend just ignoring those bits lol
