Well, for one, trad doesn't matter lol, but what makes them racist? could you be specific for more accurate advice? I would recommend not directly confronting them, as that can set them in their ways even more, but if they need to have a more open mind, simply help them meet different types of people. It takes a while, but it is the best option. Take the Daryl Davis approach :)
Can we have an example? Like are they traditional in the fact that they want to marry a woman who will stay home and take care of the house, or are they traditional in the way that they think race mixing is the bane of humanity? Is their being super overprotective come out of a place of love or control? Are they passionate in their beliefs or are they in denial?
That's also a part too. I never was able to get a real job because my parents felt like I couldn't handle it. Also now I have to rely on my family for basic needs I just got a job last year and I don't even earn enough to move out. I'm also a senior in high school and I'm tied behind my back because I also don't have the guts support to move out.
