heyy as a lesbian woman personally i am pretty much okay with my straight friends introducing me to their other bisexual or lesbian friends (although i gotta admit it would kinda offend me if they played the cupid and tried to set me up behind my back just because me, and their friend ‘both like the same gender’) but as long as they dont have any bad intentions, im okay with it!! even tho we would probably end up knowing each other since the ‘lesbian pool’ -or whatever you wanna call it- is pretty small lmao you somehow end up knowing their ex, or even have the same exes
yeah, I get your point... just the way op phrased it made it seem like it was wrong to set people up. yeah I get sometimes it might go wrong but most of the time it's harmless... at least in my experience.
i think because his bestfriend says he likes someone, he wants to help out by pairing him with someone who he knows has a chance of liking him back but yea i also can see where u r coming from

but thats why didnt he try to find out more about him? i think it would be more insensitive if he just paired two people simply because they were both gay...but it looks like he tried to matchmake based on their tastes and common interests too (ideal type, likes jackson 7, etc.)
