I completely agree. There's nothing worse than getting excited there's a new chapter update and then finding a poor translation that leaves you confused more than anything else. The point of translations is so that ppl reading them can understand what is going on
You obviously don't understand my point then. I can't translate, so I read good translations from other people. If I were to translate I would waste my own time and other peoples time because it would suck (╯°Д °)╯
You are being extremely rude and this is so uncalled for. Also, your point doesn't make sense, if you know your bad at math why choose study it? OP is right. If no one understands the translation then the point is mute and its is waste of time for both the translator and the person reading it. I dont understand why you are against valid criticisms. If I translate something to french and the french person cant understand it the wants the point.
This is why we continue to have bad translators which turns people off from the authors actual work.
As a translator myself, I agree with you. Since I read this manhwa for the story, it's quite pointless to upload a "translation" which completely destroys it in the first place. I also would never give out a work from my hands if I know that it would be useless anyway (and wouldn't waste my time with it in the first place), because I have RESPECT for the work I do.
I don't understand why someone would spend their time translating when they most likely know it's not gonna be great, like they're wasting their time. Especially when there is already good translators who take their time to translate. I'm sure most people can wait for the good translators to catch up, the fact that their uploading over the good translators is annoying. Their being rude by not waiting and wasting time because the good translators will probably take theres down once they catch up anyway. I, a native english can't enjoy poor translations, so there's no point in reading, I might as well go look at the raws, at least the images will be better quality.
This isn't to be mean even though is sounds like it, I just wanna say the translator is wasting their own time and ours. If you have 4-5 hours to spend use it better, maybe study your several languages or join a translating group if you want to translate and get better at it, then try again.
