Accidentally swapped a word, whoops. The uke didn't beat the seme up with a bat, it was the bully. (≧∀≦) The seme actually hired the bully and was pretty possessive if that helps.

I'm looking for a yaoi I read a while ago. In it, the uke has a girlfriend and a best friend (the seme). A bully from the uke's old school steals his girlfriend, and the uke beats the bully with a bat (something like this, I think the bully ended up in the hospital) and when the uke freaks out about what he did to his best friend, he ends up having sex with him. The seme has a bird too and it made an analogy of the uke being in the seme's cage.
