A very worthwhile read.

Oh gawd. I don't know if I even have the words to describe how I'm feeling after reading this. I had read the extra but then I had to re-read the whole story again because I can't help the temptation. This is one of my most favorite reads ever. Kuroda has his own flaws and he is not a righteous person but his love has been real at one point. I think he was really poisoned by his disappointments of his parents that he has been carrying the burden all his life. That despite all his achievements he can never feel fulfilled. His short relationship with Tooru is probably the best thong that has ever happened to him because he was happy back then. His feelings were all real and he treasured Tooru altogether. At the end though, he was still the child who has been neglected by his parents that's why he has been afraid of what he has done. Another mistake, another disappointment. He is not faultless, he has committed a crime which cost a mother's life. I wouldn't say that the death is a good thing but I think it was bound to happen to teach them all a lesson in life. The atonement must have been in Kuroda's sickness and I think despite trying to appear strong and play the bad guy role he has been regretting his actions. He has such a complex and twisted personality that I don't know who Kuroda really is but his character added so much flavor in this story. At the end I can only say, End Game is worth every second of my time. I love it so very much.

Haha. It's nowhere near Madarame Hiro's, if you're familiar with her works. :D I think this one, all of the words are quite necessary or I'm just being bias, because I really like the story. ^^

Hm, i cant rly compare Madarames and Yamanakas Work. Madarame has a lot of funny Parts which mellow the "Drama" Parts. Well the Characters may have a similarity

Ah no, I am only pertaining to the amount of words and not really the mangakas style/whole concept of their stories. These two mangakas are very different in most ways but are two of my favorites as well.
