I personally only throw the word fetishization around when I'm absolutely sure that's the intention and for this story I really don't think that's the case. More like they wanted to make a cute mlm story and the author themself is biphobic (which like yikes) or j ignorant and didn't do any research.
okay but who's going to tell them that :-
1) you cannot just "become gay".
2) if you are a man who likes another man you're /not/ straight. come on now. there's no such thing as "i used to be straight before i fell for you" or "i am straight, but i only like you".
3) as this manhwa seems to forget, bisexual people exist. even if you've only ever dated the opposite sex or even only felt attracted to them up until then, it doesn't make you any less bi. you could've only ever liked one person of the same sex and guess what ? you're still 100% bi.
this manhwa is really weird in the sense that it is trying to make the struggles of being gay an important part of the gay characters and a sort of plot point, yet being weirdly homophobic and biphobic with such implications.
