Okay i'll try my best to explain. So 걸 is actually pronouced as geol, which means thats her name. Geol, not girl. But since with the korean alfabeth girl (the english word) is spelled as 걸 (geol, korean pronounciation of girl) thats why it seems confusing.

Chapter 40 was understandable, but the "girl" part left me...dumbfounded, I need some clarification either by a reply or in the next chapters.
