I can understand why he lied ab being the demon king because humans don’t like him, but what’s not excusable is that even when they got into a relationship he STILL didn’t tell her, then he made this whole fake persona to make her fall in love with him. In fact, she’s not even in love with yse, she’s in love with the act that yse puts on. He manipulated her and you can’t deny that. Imagine your bf/gf lied about their job, their family, their whole entire life, would you forgive them? I like that she tried to handle it maturely, but she only forgave him because he accepted her secret. Even tho she said she was thinking for herself, she’s not doing that whatsoever.

He was keeping secrets but his personality wasn't fake, only part you could say isn't legit is that he came off as a pacifist before. Definitely wrong of him but then again FL was also lying about her own identity. I don't think it's worth destroying their marriage over as long as he's held accountable.

The ml literally said that he was just faking a personality so that the fl could fall in love with him. He was definitely in love with her, but the way he tried to show it was fucked up. I think the fl had a valid reason for keeping her identity a secret, it’s not very common that someone would believe you’ve been isekaied into a novel. In my opinion, a divorce would seem like the most reasonable choice, especially since he fabricated her job. He lacks respect for her work life and personal decisions, a divorce would be valid.

Sure, he says that, but you shouldn't take it at face value. He was hiding the more brutal aspects of himself (being a demon king and all), and if you look back on the first couple chapters you'll see him get more comfortable and start acting like himself. You say she had a valid reason but so did he, would you tell someone from a country of racists that you're a foreigner? (he's a demon and humans definitely hate those) Now I can agree the fabricated job was a bad thing. What I don't agree on is the reasoning. At that point he was already doing a balancing act with all his lies and if she became an actual government official she'd catch on that he doesn't work there, which opens a whole new can of worms he wasn't ready to face. It doesn't justify what he did, but he told her this of his own free will without prompting from FL figuring out and clearly regretted it, so it's not something worthy of life long condemnation.

Let’s agree to disagree. I personally think that if anyone fabricated my job I would be hella pissed, especially if it was someone I loved and trusted. She was humiliated and made a fool because he made a decision for her without her consent. I don’t really care if he regrets it, if he truly cared about her he would have never done it in the beginning. I get that he wasn’t ready to tell her ab the whole job thing, but it’s his own fault, if he fessed up when she took the exams then maybe I would’ve cut him some slack, but he still continued to deceive her.

I feel all the lovey dovey moments with her were real. He was only hiding his bloodlust.
